Where is Coronation Hall?
We are situated in the middle of the historic market town of
Ulverston in South Lakeland. We are located
approximately 30 minutes from the M6, 30 minutes from Windermere
and 20 minutes from Barrow in Furness.
Do you have parking?
Unfortunately not, but there are several pay and
display
car parks
within easy walking distance.
Do you serve refreshments?
We sell confectionery in the box office, ice cream in the
interval and we also have an interval bar serving crisps and nuts
If you require something more substantial there are many pubs and
restaurants within town the town. Visit

Are there good public transport links?
There are excellent public transport links and the bus station
is only a two minute walk away. The train station is also a few
minutes walk away and we also have a taxi rank outside the hall.

Have any famous people been at the Coro?
We have had visits from a lot of well known figures including
Patrick Moore, Dickie Bird, Jimmy Cricket, John Suchet, and Danny
le Rue but possibly the most famous figures to have
visited are
Laurel and Hardy
who came in 1946.
Do you cater for disabled?
Yes, the main hall is accessible by wheelchair and the supper
room accessible via lift. Guide dogs are allowed into the
hall. Please read our page on

Do you cater for hard of hearing?
A loop system is in operation on most shows but whether this
facility is used is at the discretion of the hiring company. If you
require use of the system please check with the box office before
purchasing tickets
